The Community Involvement and Volunteerism Center

The University of Michigan-Dearborn has a strong history of service; a history that the University is proud to honor, strengthen and continue with the opening of the CIViC, the Community Involvement and Volunteerism Center in the fall of 2010.

The CIViC will serve as a resource to all students who seek to learn, help and ultimately make a difference in their community.  Going beyond providing volunteer opportunities, the CIViC hopes to provide a framework for students to move along a continuum that begins with direct service and develops into issue specific awareness, education and ultimately advocacy.

• Registration is now open for the Detroit Service Initiative.  Join us May 18 and 19 in the Motor City for a weekend of service and cultural engagement in the city!  Please see the registration link for more information.

Located on the 1st Floor of the University Center (UC), next to the Food Court

Hours:  10am - 5pm  Monday - Thursday
