The Student Activities Office is developing a NEW pilot student leadership program where students create their own plan for experiential development in four key areas of leadership competency: Civic Engagement, Leadership, Diversity and Professional Skills.  If you're interested in making history and being a part of our pilot program, email Amy Karaban right away!

Mission

The Foundations Leadership Program provides an opportunity for students to create their own experiential leadership program developing competencies while complementing their academic experience and providing personal and professional growth.

Vision

To provide a program where students’ own personal interests, values, passions and talents can be pursued, the Student Activities Office, in line with the University of Michigan – Dearborn’s vision, has created Foundations.   This program will help students:

• Identify personal passions through experiential learning
• Deepen commitment to community; practice engaged citizenship
• Grow practical skills in the areas of personal and professional development
• Develop knowledgeable, ethical, and purpose driven leaders
